M&A Due Dilligence

Due diligence is generally defined as the care that a reasonable party would take before entering into an agreement with another party. A first step that a reasonable party would likely take when planning due diligence associated with a merger or acquisition (M&A) would be to identify qualified resources to perform the due diligence. This is particularly true when the due diligence involves a government contractor. Government contractors have a set of rules and regulations that they must comply with or they could face significant consequences, including fines, suspension or debarment.
